About the Deer Lodge Curling Club
Deer Lodge has been an important fixture on the local curling
scene for many years. The first facility was erected in 1918 and has
moved twice, the last in 1957 to its current location on Woodlawn
Street, beside the St. James Civic Centre. It was incorporated in 1957
as The
Deer Lodge Curling Club Limited. For a little more history

Club Features
- Top-calibre curling
facilities, with a 2-level viewing area, 6 sheets of
professionally-maintained ice, an up-to-date ice plant, and heaters in
the ice area.
Bar service is available for the convenience of
curlers via the direct telephone system in the arena.
- Curling for everyone from beginner
to seasoned expert, with leagues from
Monday through Sunday (men, women, seniors, mixed, little rocks,
juniors).
- Large lounge, including large-screen TV, PA/sound system,
and roof-top ventilation and air-conditioning units for year-round
fresh air.

Year-Round Operation
The Deer Lodge Curling Club is open seven days a week during
the curling season.
Rental ice is available
(e.g., for office bonspiels), and the facilities
can be
booked year-round (including weekends) for receptions, meetings and
parties.
