City Of Winnipeg LEARN
TO CURL Programs
The Winnipeg Community Services Department is offering two adult LEARN TO CURL programs at Deer Lodge in the fall of 2003. Both programs are on Saturday afternoons from 2:30 to 4:30 pm for six weeks starting October 11, 2003. The fee for each program is $88.00 For registration information see page 4 of the "Fall 2003 Leisure Guide" distributred by the Winnipeg Community Services Department. Their registration phone line is : 986-5663. The program descriptions follow : Beginner An absolute beginner's program for those interested in learning to play one of the fastest growing sports. Program to cover rules, etiquette, flat foot delivery, strategy and game play. Please bring a curling broom, clean, flat-soled footwear or curling shoes and a full-foot slider. Intermediate For those who have completed the beginner course or would like to improve on existing skills. |
