Chair Refurbishment Program
The DLCC Board of Directors and Past Presidents have initiated a program to renovate the lounge chairs. New in 1988, the chairs have "weathered" though time and use, and many are in need of reconditioning. Arrangements have been made locally to provide the chairs with new seat and back covers, which are both stylish and attractive. The cost to repair one chair is $50.00, which includes a small plaque on the back recognizing the contributor. We are looking to all Deer Lodge curlers and supporters to help contribute to the success of this program through a tax deductible donation. We are using the Canadian Curling Association's donation program. A sample letter is available online by clicking on either PDF version or WORD6 version. Please note, the CCA stipulates $100.00 as their minimum donation amount. Please follow these brief instructions to complete your donation, or contact Jerry Brown or Bruce McBeth with questions or assistance. 1. fill in the blanks on the donation letter - name, address, etc. 2. include your donation amount and a cheque payable to the C.C.A. 3. provide Vic Palles, Secretary, with a copy of your letter (Boardroom mail slot), please add a hand written note on this copy indicating "chair refurbishment". 4. mail your letter right away ; your receipt will follow later.
