Sam Brown Memorial Volunteer Award

Created: Spring, 2003 by DLCC's Board of Directors
1st recipients: Norm & Martha Brown, April 2003.

Award Guidelines & Nomination Criteria:

1. Nominee(s) must be an active member of Deer Lodge Curling Club for at least 10 years.

2. Only one person or couple will receive the award annually.

3. Bestowing the award will be at the sole discretion of the DLCC Board of Directors. It does
not have to be presented annually.

4. The award recognizes a person or couple who give freely of their time to Deer Lodge
Curling Club.

5. Nomination forms, which include award criteria, will be made available to DLCC curlers in
February or March of the current curling season.

6. The recipient(s) of the award will be invited, with a guest, to the annual DLCC Men's
Windup and will receive a glass etching, as well as have their name(s) engraved on the
award's permanent plaque.
